Default Proper method to install centercaps (center caps)?

Hello, I know this sounds stupid but is there a proper method to install centercaps? I thought you just push it in the center until the tabs click, but one of the plastic tabs seemed to break when I put in the first one.

Let me know if you know, thanks!

there's really only one proper way to insert center caps.

order a new one if you broke the one, and gently/slightly push in the tabs on the center cap before installing if it seems like you have to force the cap in
