Default PLEASE HELP ME!!! Tire and wheel offset question!!!

Ok, first off I have a USDM Type r 5 lug conversion on my EK. I have 15x7 +30 Sprint Hart CPR's. The offset of the wheels make it stick out. I have 205/50-15 Kumho MX on the wheels and everytime i hit a bump or dip it rubs against my fenders. I do not want to roll my fenders. Would smaller width tires make it not rub? Maybe 195/50?

First, you have the wrong offset for your application, but I guess you know that by now. Second, the 195/50 is less likely to rub because not only is it skinnier, but it is also a smaller diameter. Unfortunately, the only real way to find out is try it

I guess you're already invested in these wheels, but I'd get something with the right offset, priority #1. I imagine your handling has already gone to toast. I hear that bad offsets can cause unnatural stresses on wheel bearings and make them wear out quicker. I'd go back to stock or get something that fits properly. JMHO.
