running wheels like this eliminates UNDERSTEER... seems very popular in japan... opposed to the USA where everyone just runs super stiff springs in rear and monster sized sway bar

It's been used in Solo2 US Nationals for years. Remember, in japan they use super stiff front coils so to compensate for understeer, this staggered set-up will help oversteer.

 

solo2 is autocross correct?

 

what is the staggered fit exactly??

 

wider wheels in front... or lower offset in front

wheels sticking out more in front helps the car rotate better

 

what about in the rear aswell

Rear: 15x6.5 +40 offset (195/50-15 tire)

i think it helps with R compound tires too... meaning the rear tires will heat up as fast as the fronts because less weight less tire to heat up

 

17x9.5 +15 fronts and 17x8.5 +30. Planned tyre setup is 275 and 245s.
