Offset effected by spacer question?
I bought a set of OZ rims that ended up being a 4x114.3 bolt pattern. i've been looking around and people sell wheel adaptors to convert 4x100 to 4x114.3 but they are all 1" thick.
How will a 1" thick spacer effect offset? Is offset measured in mm? The OZ rims have a 46 offset... 25mm in 1". So would the resulting offset be 21? That would have the rim sticking way out no?
Help!

The best thing you can do is to sell the wheels, and buy wheels that have the proper bolt pattern for your car. Don't make one mistake (the wrong bolt pattern) and then pile another mistake on top of it (the wrong positioning of the wheel/tire in the wheel well).

i agree with both of the responses above but if you really really don't want to sell the wheels then go to pandagarage.com and order 15mm adapters that go from 4x100 to 4x114 wheels.
jimmy quoted me $200 for one set of (4) adapters. maybe a little bit more money than ebay but 10mm thinner.
that will make your offset 31mm which would be more manageable than the lower 21mm.
