No tire is good at everything. So you can either use one tire for more than one purpose, or get multiple sets of wheels.
Drag radials are good at straight-line acceleration on dry pavement - perfect for the dragstrip. They wear quickly (you might get 5K miles on a set) and they suck in the rain.
The Falken Azenis RT-615 is a very sticky specialty tire. It's quite good at straight-line acceleration - not as good as drag radials, though - and also at cornering. It wears quickly (10-12K miles) and it's not very good in the rain, either.
There are other street tires that are good in the rain, but won't stick like the drag radials or the Azenis on the dragstrip.
So you'll have to decide where to make your trade-offs.
