Default Minimum offset for 1995 Accord

I'm getting new rims because I hate how my stockers are tucked into the wheelwell. I want more of a broadshouldered look so what is the minimum offset I can go with without rubbing th fenders? And I mean not rubbing fenders around swooping corners too. +40mm seems to be popular with 17x7's. Will this give the car a good stance? Thanks for any help.

They'd fit, but they'll look awkward without some work done to the suspension. You may want to lower it a little bit, otherwise it'll look like a monster truck.

BTW, you'll need 205/45-17 tires.
