Default Wheel Help!

So I went out and bought +33 offset Volk te37's for my integra which is lowered 2" on H&R Racing springs...so it's not adjustable. Being an idiot and not doing enough research on these- once i got to the tire store to mount some tires on the guys told me the wheels wouldn't fit since they would rub.

I am mainly trying to see what this looks like since I know people have done this on their tegs before and also opinions on what they look like and what rolled fenders look like

Rubbing depends on the tire size, which you don't mention. Offset depends on the wheel width, which you don't mention.

As a general rule, you can lower an Integra up to 2" without rubbing, as long as your wheel offset positions it in the wheel well for maximum clearance, and as long as you're using one of the proper tire sizes for an Integra (195/60-14, 195/55-15, 205/50-15, 205/45-16, or 215/45-16, although if you have 16" on a lowered car I'd recommend the 205 rather than the 215).

I didn't have any tires on the wheels but i was about to put 205/45/16's on them. So 2 of the people jsut looked at my car and said it didn't work because the recommended offset for integras is +42.

And no I don't have adjustable camber

I've fit 16x7 +35 on my DC2 without issue. A +33 should fit, though you might need to roll the rear fenders. I think I have 3 or 4 mm of clearance with the rear fender with a 215/45-16 (and I think RE-11s run a little wide anyway). A slightly skinnier tire should have no trouble with a +33.

Sounds like you need to find a better shop. Just because something tells them that a +42 is "recommended", doesn't excuse them for not just quickly measuring for fit.

Currently, more like 2.5".

But, it doesn't really matter on the ride height. Roads are not perfectly flat, and the wheel/tire combination needs to fit through the entire range of suspension travel.

Yeah I think I understand.
So you're saying that the +33 offset on my DC should work fine and it looks good? Without any camber adjustments or anything except for I may have to do a bit of fender rolling in the rear to prevent rubbing.

And considering the roads are bumpy they may rub a little but not constantly. Also do the tires tuck into the wheel housing because i'm not trying to have them stick out

Because if so i'm about to go down right now and get some tires on these babies haha

I don't think you'll have any rubbing.

The wheels you have are only a 2mm difference in offset, yet my tires are 10mm wider (probably more) than the ones you were looking at.

I was just trying to state, that in a worst case scenario, you'll only have to roll the rear fenders to get them to fit. You probably won't need to do this though.
