You may be able to get some of it off with Wheel Polish, but I'd say you're stuck having to sand it down.

Take them to a refinishing place or have them powder coated, or if you want to do the work yourself like toyomatt84 said, you should be able to sand them down. and repaint them yourself if you are careful.

Errr.... Ah.... you DO realize that no one sees the insides of the wheels, right? And they'll be covered with brake dust and grease and dirt?

I mean, I'm all for a good-looking car, but unless you're competing in concours events, where they're looking for anything not totally clean and in original mint condition, no one will ever notice.

hmm.. so the oxidation wont get worse?

If it wont affect the wheels in any way in the future then that is good news.

If you have a "Truck pro" store in your area get a bottle of trailer wash and put it on with a rag.Turn the wheel right side up reach thru and spray it off.Don't get the wash on the face of the wheel or you will streak it and have to polish it back out.Wear gloves when applying,it will burn the **** out of you if left on the skin to long.
