As dumb as this looks, it's actually a really good idea. That technology was adapted from the sign industry however. I saw the "spinning bar of LED's" sign primered at the 2001 International Sign Association Trade Show in Orlando. I thought it was pretty cool, but I never thought they would adapt it to a wheel. GREAT for advertising! Doing a nice vehicle wrap, and putting a set of those wheels on will turn some heads.

They'll look the same, just won't have programmable picture options. They'll just display "FAKE" all the time.
