Default fixing damaged wheels

i have never gotten a wheel fixed before.

If there is a crack about 3 inches just below where the curve of the lip goes to the part that connects down the face of the wheel, will they still be strong after wards and be ok to drive on?

The wheels are forged aluminum.

Talk to a professional wheel repair shop. They will probably give you one of two recommendations. If the repair can be fixed, then it will be as strong as the original. If it can't be fixed, then you'll need to replace the wheel.
