i just pick up some wheels for a cheap with new falken azenis rt 615 tires.. whats the life expectancy of these tires mile wise? i was thinking of taking the tires off cause they are a little more low profile than i want to run anyway.. but they were cheap so im just curious.

 

10k to 12k miles, normal street driving.

I put 6 months of daily use (4k miles), 14 autocrosses, and 3 HPDEs on mine before they were through the wear bars.

If you drive like a fool (burnouts, overly aggressive braking, etc...) expect a shorter lifespan.

The Falkens I had lasted a reasonable amount of time.

 

LOL!!! Different people have different definitions of "reasonable"!

TunerN00b is correct; 10-12K miles is very typical. Some people get less than that range, some more, but that's a good estimate.

 

I got about 10k out of mine til they hit the wear bars. The one thing I noticed was that they had very good grip until they were worn about halfway approx. 5k mi. Once they reached that point I lost a noticeable amount of grip. Be careful if you drive fast around corners once they have some wear.
