Default different tires front and back??

So I popped 1 of my ecsta spt tires and cannot find the correct size ANYWHERE! Instead of buying a complete set of tires would it be ok if i just purchased 2 different tires for the front or rear?? What effect would this have on driving.... its just my daily.

Well, as a first step, you could try calling Kumho customer service at 800-HI-KUMHO to ask if they have them somewhere.

However, if you can't get them, your best bet is to get two tires whose performance characteristics are as similar as possible, so that the handling of your car remains reasonably neutral. This means two other "ultra high performance summer tires". My recommendation would be to get the Yokohama S.drive or Fuzion ZRi as the most similar to the SPT.

With similar tires like the S.drive or ZRi, the effect of different tires should be minimal. The difference would be a lot greater (and less desirable) if you mixed the two SPT tires with two drastically different tires, such as two all-season tires, or two "extreme performance summer tires", whose grip in certain conditions may be considerably better, or worse, than the SPT.
