If it's the regular cosmetic 'curb rash' then it can be fixed at specialized rim repair shops. Look online or in the phone book in your area to find one. Or, go to a tire shop and ask for a referal. However, if it is serious (bends, cracks, tears) it may or may not be fixed, the rim repair place will be best able to tell you if they can do it. If you think it is more than cosmetic please don't drive on that rim.

Should only be 100-125 per rim in my experiance. Other's opinions may vary seeing as I am in a different country.

Cheers.

Well, hard to say without seeing what the damage actually looks like. If you "DIY" it will most likely look like "DIY". Also sanding it takes away the metal so your rim make look all of a sudden lop sided. It will also need to be rebalaced. IMO you should leave it to a pro. Post a close up of what you are tring to fix.

I have never DIY fixed curb rash or seen someone who has. Maybe someone else can chime in with some personal experiance?

Cheers.
