there was thread about contact patches that was really in depth a read here a few years back any one know were it went i cant find it iv searched plenty of times

Contact patch is easy.

If you want a larger one, either increase the weight of the vehicle or reduce the tire pressure. However, since this goes against "common sense" there is a lot of misinformation out there...

Contact patch = weight / pressure

What more does one need to know?
