Choosing Tires for 2000 Integra
Okay, so I know nothing about cars, much less tires, and now I need new tires and I'm overwhelmed by all the options.
I currently live in Tucson, AZ. It gets incredibly hot here pretty much all year round. Summers hit 100F+ pretty much everyday and we have a monsoon season from ~June-August where its just pouring rain all day. It never snows here. I would drive on snow maybe 5-15 times out of the year during the winter when I visit the mountains. I do drive my car everyday for work, errands, etc and occasionally drive to phoenix (~100 miles one way) every few months so a comfortable ride would be nice. Durability is also important; I would like them to last at least 20K, preferably 25K+. I need 195/55/15's.
Not quite sure what other information you need so let me know.

If youre going to use the same tires all year, you need all season tires for the fact that you will be driving on snow. If you can afford it, have one set of wheels with summer tires for the wet and dry seasons, then another cheap set of wheels with snow tires on them.
Alphalanos is right. All you need is to drive ONCE on snow with summer tires to figure out it's a horrible idea. So if you can afford it, run a set of tires and wheels for the 15 times you drive to the mountains, and summer tires in the valley.
For summer usage, I would go with the new Firestone Firehawk Wide Oval or the Yokohama S.drive. I like how the Firestones handle and feel on the road and how they performed on the track. Yokos are pretty good as well, but stiffer and average when driving in the rain.
