Has anyone heard of or used these tires before? I'm told that they are offered by a division of Goodyear, and I'm picking up a pair to replace my Kumho Ecsta 712's in the rear because one of them has a bubble in it, and it looks like they have been discontinued.

 

The Champiro is manufactured by GT Tire (Gajah Tunggal) in southeast Asia. http://www.gt-tires.com. Seems like they aren't so popular in the US; a quick Google seemed to bring up a lot of UK sites. For some reason I thought they may not be DOT-approved but I'm probably wrong.
