Default Can these be fixed???

I bought an em1 with stock wheels a couple weeks ago and they have damage on the surface; none of it being very deep. How difficult would it be to fix them?

Can they be fixed? Yes. However, it may cost some dough. The surface finish that comes on them stock, is a machined surface. There are companies that can re-cut the face, using a CNC. However, you may want to go the cheaper route and just polish them. There's a good thread in the FAQ's on how to do that. As for the center caps, you'll just have to order replacement caps, since they're plastic and not salvageable.

Agreed with the above post. YouTube aircraft stripper or paint stripper on wheels. It'll remove the factory clear coat. Then you wet sand them down and polish them or paint them black. Or if you want a quick dirty fix hit them with plastic dip.
