another lug nut question...ls mesh
hey all,
I recently refinished some ls mesh rims and i wanted to use new lug nuts, i was wondering if the ls mesh wheels use a ball seat or a cone seat... and will the lugs on this page work...
http://www.ezaccessory.com/Aco...b.htm
If those will not fit, can someone please point me towards some cheap black lugs?
thanks

They're not that cheap, but the lug nuts for the '91-96 NSX are black and have the ball-shaped seating area you need, and you can get them at any Acura dealer. Part number 90304-SA7-811. List price is $5.37 each, Delray Acura price is $4.30.
You can get chrome-finished ball-shaped lug nuts at Autozone for $1.19.

What you need for the LS mesh (and pretty much all Honda/Acura wheels) is a ball-shaped seating area. When buying aftermarket lug nuts (especially those made by manufacturers fo aftermarket wheels), if it doesn't say that it has a ball-shaped seating area, then I would assume it has a tapered (conical) seating area and should not be used on the LS mesh or any other Honda/Acura wheel.
