I recently purchased some 16"track r's with 205/55/16 tires on em. They are on my 97 civic hatch. I am dropped on tein stechs on stock shocks and they are rubbing pretty bad. Wha tires do u guys think i SHOULD get (and hopefully i can buy em used cause i actually got this tire wheel package because it came with tires dammit lol), or is there something i can do to remedy this?

Thats what i was thinking..... damn... hard to find used ones of those tho lol. Maybe I can get lucky and find a used tire shop and trade mine in and jus pay a lil extra since mine still have pretty damn good thread left anyways lol. I hope I get lucky and find em used tomorrow cause i am BROKE lol. so 45's are best tho? what about 50's?

 

I think you would be happiest with the 45 series tires...but 50's should also fit with no rubbing issues since you are using s-techs.

do yourself a favor and get the 45's

 

ah, i ended up getting some toyo proxes fz4's since i got em for a good deal (340 total to install) 205/40/16's. Damn 45's are hella expensiv and are hard to find lol

 

i just bought some 16" rims, and i havnt got tires yet, cause im debating on 45 or 40series. what do you goes think looks better on a hatch?

 

wow 205/55s are some beefy *** tires.

40 series you can drop a rediculous amount without rubbing.

but i would recommend a 45 series

 

too late, i got 40's already... il post a pic soon... looks good, and they are not that much thinner than 45's and I can drop it a lil more heheh
