Default 15x7 38 offset

I have a 1991 ef sedan with coilovers (no camber kit). I want to get wheels that are 15x7 38 offset. Now I'm pretty sure these will work but people are saying the type of rims I'm looking at, xxr 501's, won't fit... Are they just talking about the 15x8 0 offset's? Any help would be much appreciated.

Also what would be the best tire setup? 185/60r14's?

Thanks,

Whoa! Yes I would suggest the 185/65r14 combo for the street fire scenario

You cannot put a 14" tire on a 15" wheel.

The wheels should fit just fine, as long as you're using the 15x7 +38 sizing. For tires, I would recommend a 195/50/15.
