like it says anyone have any experience with welding titanium?

 

I have had lots,and it's a pain. welds like butter looks great if done right
but, big but to do it right it has to be done in argon atmosphere chamber if not it has many mini cracks which you have to xray to see.
It has to have a bright silver finish when done maybe a little lite straw color in a few places but thats it.
Oh yea you have to feed your rod short handed because it flop around alot and sticks to the bass metel like crazy glue lol. Tig only and can't be welded to anything else

 

puddle flows nice and agreed with above we don't have an argon at mosphere id be curious on those cracks
