Welding techniques help

i am a beginner welder. i was wondering if you all could share your own techniques and tips to help myself and others like myself to become better welders. thanks a lot.

ALWAYS use a hood when welding!! and make sure it has a tinted lens in it.

Tip: For MIG, STrong first, pretty second.

Tip: Practice

Repeat those over and over and you'll do fine.
