welder for an auto guy
http://orlando.craigslist.org/tls/878848616.html
found this and was wondering if the experts think it would suit my needs.
I have a road race car, plus older DD's, and do all my own work (except for welding
)
I was planning on learning on my own...did a little welding 20 yrs ago at a farm/shop.
Most of the jobs will be welding sheet metal between 1/4 inch plate/gussets on frame/brackets, etc. to welding exhaust tubing...pretty much anything to do with a car.
Is this a welder that would serve me well? What kind of disadvantages to this type of welder?
