Default Weld-Bond?

I have a friend that works at a body shop and he says now they use this stuff called weld bond... He says it is really solid and he has never had anyone ever come back and say it broke or anything when he put on a new rear 1/4 with it. Has anyone used it? what do you guys think about it? it seems a little sketch.

heres a link i found:

Well. alot of modern cars are put together with glue. Teroson, Unimix, etc make stuff to glue body panels. Its not welding and you cant compare them.

We use it in college...although we use 3m's automix (i forget the number right now).

Its some pretty crazy ****. GM approved one of 3m's products, and we use it alot, so its pretty good stuff. One thing that you have to be aware of is that you HAVE to weld the rear of the quarter. You HAVE to weld the area of a panel that can be caught in a accident (can only use on non-structural panels of course) to prevent tear-away. With the 3M Products they include the little warranty with their product, and directions with it to show the area's that must be welded). The stuff has a really high tension strength, but if you catch a corner in a accident with no weld that quarter is comming off.
