Thoughts on this cage

Would you guys change/improve anything? I'm looking for a good shop in the NW to get a SCCA spec roll cage. This is an example from a shop in Portland.

I thought that the door bar on the passenger side was supposed to be one piece from the mid point of the hoop to the lower a pillar. I can't remember off the top of my head though, it looks pretty good.
Did Racetech build that one??
Check out Cascade- they are in Issaquah I believe and make some nice cages.
There's a few areas of that cage I would have done differently, but overall, it's better than most entry level race car cages I have seen

The bar from the lower main hoop to mid A pillar is one piece, but I would have done what you are saying. Plus, you should gusset/strengthen that joint as the intersection is a weak point

That is a very typical IT/HC type of cage. Nothing is really wrong with it, at all.
Door bars like that aren't my favorite, simply because they make egress a bigger pain that it already is. I love the protruding X design with gussets. But there is absolutly nothing wrong with those door bars.
The bar that goes from the door bar to the A-pillar bar is a really great bar unfortunate, the position of it can't be exactly were it would best be used, because then egress would be impossible. But it is a very good bar.
The only thing i would add is a support bar from the front hallo to the A pillar bar.
