So I just got my new welder, sycrowave 180sd,installed and was wanting to try and start welding some aluminum. I was wondering if there were any pointers on whats size tungsten, filler, voltage, amps, dig settings you pros out there could offer to help me learn quicker. I would also like to know what kind of cleaning methods you guys use or recommend when welding aluminum. Websites or pics would be greatly appreciated. I used to use a old dialarc hf watercooled tigwelder before this one. this unit has some more features that i am not familiar with.
