Default SR20VE Prototype Header & B series update

So my friend Charles and I have been messing arownd with the idea of making a custom equal lenght tuned header for his sr20ve. Well after a few days of messing arownd we came up with this.

This is just a prototype made out for mild 18ga with a stainless collector from burns with megaphone.

But anyway, enought with the talking, here are some pics. Enjoy.

Very nice looking! Equal legnth headers don't have to be as twisty as some people make them.

I think there might be problems making that engine run though.

Wow, i've never seen a piston or rod blow a perfectly square hole in a block before.
Thats a really nice lookin' header you got there though. Probably sounds retarded sick.

Header looks nice, but ground clearance is going to suck with a 4-1 collector right under the oilpan, you better run a skidplate with that one.

at some point I will, but right now im just testing them for the best power all arownd. Comming early next year they will be in production.

Clearence shouldn't be too bad. It only hangs down about 1.875" under the oil pan. Next one I make im going to bring it closer to the oil pan. But for now, im just testing them on a B18c w/bolt on's.

Im trying to get the right lenght on all 4 runners and total lenght for the best power band.

Where are you getting the 18g mild bends? How much do they cost?

Calculated equal length headers out there are twisty because they not only go for equal length, but a calculated runner length as well. With the position of the collector, fitting a specific primary length that is identical between runners requires some "twisties". Going simply point A to B regardless of runner length, just getting there equally is much easier.
