Default something I made..

a friend of mine came with this idea...
he had seen it around and liked the idea of having that in his trunk

wheter it works or not... i dont know... he tells me you only notice it when you take it out after a while of driving...

anyway... some pics...

i think it turned out pretty good...

dont know... as far as i know no1 makes it exactly like this..

i have the lock nuts here... but i forgot them when we installed the bars...

There are a bunch of companies that make similar products. Normally one of the bars goes up to the B pillar. All in all, nice work.

Did you heat up the end of the tie bar (the one with no welds) with the TIG torch in order to JDM color it?

It's my car, and the ends of the bars are heated with a torch just to fit the aluminum tips in the ends. There a little bit to big just to fit them very tight in the tube. The jdm color is a free bonus

Ande the car is not stitch welded

indeed... the alu ends are a 0.15mm press fit... but they fall right in when you heat the tube like that...

I would have welded the x section together though in the intersection.
