Default solid rear mount



just made one for my nitrous car...
my boy has been running one on his sfwd ek for about 2 years with no issues

how does it feel? much vibration? looks like you should have used a bit more filler in the welds. i would like to have a solid aluminum rear mount made w/ a stainless tube pressed in the hole for the bolt hole.
got any more specs or pix of that car?

yeah pretty much just mocked it off of a stock one... of course its a little rough with vibration.. motor doesnt move at all, but thats the whole point isnt it? lol

Man i remeber my CRX with the place racing and my soldi front mount. You can feel the engine all the time.hickup and miss fire lol

hows the vibration...i might consider doin this...i already have all the inserts and it shakes alright...still moves a lil tho

yep, it almost made the fillings in my teeth come out, you couldnt even see out of any of the mirrors, the good old days


mount looks good, i did the 2 lower torqur mounts in solid too

really huh? how was the vibration....could you still take it on an hr drive....or would you be going nuts....i already have inserts all around w/ a 4 puck unsprung clutch...its not bad...but i cant imagine it gettin that much worse

you guys think if a solid rear mount is used the front cross member mount wont be needed? its a huge pain in the *** to fab up this front mount on my car and use a half radiator.

nice idea but it def needs more passes over your welds you can still see the groove a bit and that is a potential weak point in the joint.... trust me thats a bad part to have weak points in....
