pick up this 1 year old miller sync 180sd?

guy wants 1750 obo says no reg is included...but comes with pedal, torch and running gear....i am saving up for a 200, but if i can get this for around $1500, that leaves me more $$ to spend on a decent auto darkening mask, (i would need to purchase a reg), and some gas and lease a tank from a local supply store.....also, i kno miller covers their welders with a 3 year warranty, is it still valid if I am not the original owner?

what do you guys think? go for it or wait for another used sync 200 or possibly a new sync 200 (would prob be another few weeks or so. . . )

Seems a little high for a used 180, no? I paid $700 for my used 180.

For real...1750.00 is outrageous! 1300.00 tops if the machine is in A+ shape with the runner package, and of course the pedal and ground.

 

I honestly had no idea...glad i posted! Got a quote from a local welding shop today for $2500 for a sync 200 runner.....so I figured this was a good deal!

A 200 can be had for under 2 grand

 

i got my 200 off an ebay seller w no running for 1670 shipped with all the stuff and it came with a regulator. that was a year ago when they first came out too, you need to look around more.

 

that is really high I purchased a sync 200 runner with everything but the bottle for 1800 shipped back in feb

 

I bought my 180 a few years back for less than that brand new.

 

offer him 750. when he balks start barganing with a MAX price of 1k if he starts throwing in some more stuff. Seriously WAY too high on the price.
