hey guys whats up,

I have been thinking about building a few things for my car to help with susp.

My grandpa is an Iron worker so ofcourse he has the huge shop that I would be doing this in.

My question is, would this hold up?
Its going to be a 3 peice.
1 Peice, C pillar bar,
2nd Piece, the "X" not sure whats its called
3rd piece, the Rear Upper strut bar,

I had planned to have the center piece bolt to the other two bars,
Would this work?

This is the very rough draft, I drew this in 10 min at school.
I'll be doing more resaerch and lookinto materials etc...
But I want to know what you guys think as of now.

the rear x needs to connect to the bolts. not the middle of the bars

if you really want real rigidity youd get a cage.

 

The X is one single peice, welded in the center where the two bars meet creating the "X". And then I would have brackets welded on the ends and then that would be bolted to the C piller bar and the Rear upper strut bar,


I'm Making a C-Pillar and a Upper rear strut bar so I thought i might as well
do this.

 

well you need to make it one piece but move the point to where i said.

its not doing what you think its doing when the bars are where you have them placed.

The "X" needs to connect at the mounting points, not in the middle like I have drawn above. Ok thanks
