Default Is this rollbar safe?

I just want some opinons on this roll bar. Would the rear bars bending down like that weaken the rollbar? This isn't my car

That rear bar design is sometimes referred to as "pro-stock" as compared to the traditional triangulated rear. As for it being a weaker design I'm not sure, but it is not a weak cage.

Ah ok. A buddy of mine was considering getting that cage, and asked me if it was a good design. Since I knew nothing about cages I wouldn't be able to give him an answer. Would this pass tech inspection? any more opinon is welcome.

It's quite a bit weaker than straight tubes, but if you want to keep the rear seats, then you don't have much of an option.

i don't see how. that not gonna keep the roll bar from bending where it wants to already, where the 2 existing bends are at.

there is no cross bar. in a side impact the cage would crush like a can

cross bar in the main hoop? there's a diagonal bar in the main hoop. So what do you need to be added/changed in order for this to be safe?

It needs some work. I don't know what kind of racing or what class you would be racing in, but it needs work. It is hard to see the cage itself in the pics you posted, but it doesn't even look like it has the main hoop or the cross bars for it? Unless it is a race only car, I would stay away from a cage.
