Just cut up some cardboard till it looks right, trace it, and cut it out.

I made mine, they look a little better now that the bumper is painted and I scuffed up the aluminum a little.

I'd use small SS machine screws and nyloc nuts with washers (on the inside) to even out the pressure. Heck, a little silicone would probably do the trick too.

Now, I know what the purpose of a diffuser is, but maybe I'm thinking of a different definition (the ones that create down force). How effective is attacking your bumper with a hole saw? Is there actually a notable difference in performance somewhere?

yeah i think your thinking of the same thing i am when i think "diffuser" the piece that goes under the rear of the car right? like what pontiac tries to copy on the back of a lot of there cars. so whats that piece called if its not a diffuser?

Holes in the rear bumper is not a diffuser. The holes are to stop your rear bumper from trapping air and acting like a chute. Works great, I've seen 2-3mph in the 1/4 on a 106mph car.

In the thread there's cars that range from drag cars to all motor street cars that noticed a diffrence.Basic rule of thumb is it's good for maybe .1-.3 seconds 1-3 mph and a few mpg if it's a street car.Your thinking of a real diffuser like the kind that come on most exotic cars.I have never seen one made for a civic besides the vx rear diffuser, but there's a few companies that make them for s2000s and nsxs.I have a coupe and couldn't run the vx so this is the only option.

I got my kms-fab diffuser today,so im going to try to get that installed and get pictuers for the guys that were interested.

That would be cool if they made something like that for the rear too & still no coupe love.
