Finally bit the bullet and upgraded. I bought a dynasty 200dx coolmate 1 watercooler and a weld carft 310 torch. My old machine is a hobart tr-250 hf dinosaur... All I have to say so far is I love the dynasty the weld was on sch10 304ss, 1/16 2% th tungsten, large pyrex cup, 100pps @ 90 amps. I need to learn how to tie in my welds a little better but this is probably the best Ive ever done on stainless

 

oh and I used .045 308 ss rod
