is this just a log manifold with the turbo hanging off the center? If so why not just use 2 T's and 2 L's?

just tring to learn technique with out taking the 'easy' road. Also this allows for directioal flow with less turbulance.

it is going to have an offset to the right flange.

The notching of the pipe looks great. Did you do it by hand or with a tubing notcher?

In the second design,I don't like that the piping length is gonna be different on some of the runners, and a pretty big difference to. Unless your gonna hook back with the 2 runners

my biggest issue is the collector... i may have to revise the second design.. the collector would get ugly if i kept on the same path.. any advice?

yep, its me, which brings me to my next question.

did you draw that flange in CAD and have it laser cut?

when I get the damned time, i'll be looking to make a header, so it would be valuable to know the details on the flange.

make runners 1&4 come togher, then 2&3 come together and put the turbo in the middle. hey, its an old idea, but it works, so why re-invent the wheel. bright idea.

good thinking/being creative though.

what's so horribly bad about the primary tubes being differnt lengths....its been proven on sbc's and such that it helps midrange, and low end torque.....now for the guy that is building a drag car thats another story.....
