this is actually how over 90% of the RV's chassis are driven around here i know. i have been building high end RV's since i got out of high school. They drive them from plant to plant which is usually less than 2-3 miles away.

It looks like the vehicle is supported on the lift and they are using the jack/battery combo to hold something up in the car while they work on it. Definately not the best thing but a whole lot better than holding the car up with the battery. They could at least used the step stool although it probably wouldnt have been much better.

edit: didnt see it was already pointed out. but seriously i need someone to tell me if you can actualy see a weld through news paper before i go out to my garage and try it.
