the rare mandrel bender has been spotted numerous times in VA.matter of fact,i saw mutliple examples of it at the Street Dynamics shop that Marshall(a member here)shares with his dad's business:

WTF else do you want?!i told you were there is a place with mandrel benders in VA.i ask you what you want specifically, and you never answered.if you want run of the mill bends in 45/90/180/etc degrees in any number of material and thickness in practically any diameter, you can get them off the internet for good prices.i buy many bends off Ebay.also try (gasp) doing a search.a search on here will reveal many threads on where to buy them.a search on Google will reveal many other distributors.....or,do you need a specific bend custom made?if so,i gave you the site to a person who i know does great work, and who's in VA.don't expect a custom piece to be cheap.

what are you trying to have made. exhaust. intercooler tubing?
either of those should be able to be made with only a couple 180 degree mandrel bend sections. you can cut each 180 into quite a few small sections, then just weld them where ya need um

3" exhaust for me. But with kteller, it's almost the same price to make your own, or buy the whole boltup kit.
I have ten feet of 3" tubing, now all i need is someone to bend it for me.

seriously. Do you you think an automotive machine shop would have a mandrel, with those size dies? I mean, come on. $400 for bent straight tubing that costs $9.00/ft retail? THAT'S INSANE!!!
The problem with this post is that no one realizes exactly how much effort is needed to change the setup on a mandrel bender and also the prices of high quality materials........all of the bends offered through Marshall are T321 & T347 stainless which is a LOT more $$ than 9.00/ft. also the labor and cost of the machine/dyes involved. Of course once you figure in the cost of materials and overhead these prices are extremely good for anyone to maintain a profitable business...which is exactly what i would keep in mind when you are shopping for anything.....i would never assume that just because i lived in the same state as someone else then i am automatically qualified for the "friend" hookup......if you want cheap bends, then i would suggest going to you local auto parts store and ordering mild steel U bends through a mass producer (ie. dynomax/tenneco).
For any other alternatives than said listed above, I would suggest buying a bender and going into business for yourself......give everyone in virginia a hookup..... and then file bankruptcy because you cant maintain the basic principles of business management

i've also bought from Jegs.they're usually a couple bucks cheaper per bend than the local auto parts store.you have to keep in mind the handling fee from Jegs,so it's only really worth it if you plan on buying a few bends to get any real savings,or if you're buying other products from at the same time.

Ok, I just called Millenium. I dont know where they get stuff from. I really dont think there is anybody locally in 7 Cities that does mandrel bending except the Navy Shipyard. I've been living here in Va Beach for over 5 yrs now and most of us locals buy piping on-line......
