Making a reducer?
I am making a header for a Suzuki Forenza, and am using 1.5" primaries. The exhaust port size is around 2" overall.
Initially I had the swedged the 1.5" runners, as you see in runners 1, 2 and 4 in the picture. For the third runner (I accidentally cut short the tubing intended for runner #3) I made a reducer using 2" tube, cut a v notch into it and "worked" it aka squish in vise, weld, squish some more, finish hammer. It took about 20 minutes to do, but I was wondering, how do you guys do something like this? I didnt want to use 2" primaries because it is way to huge for a 2 liter motor pushing to 6500rpms.
By the way, the design is simply made to bolt to the factory midpipe, nothing more, it's not one of my race headers, i.e. special request.

Thanks guys!
Jimmy
