Default Looking for a specific tool.

Quick question guys. I kinda stripped the top of a bolt, the bolt that connects the hub to the rotors on a 1993 honda accord, if that helps any. But i remember seeing a tool once that i could use to take the bolt out. Its only the top of the bolt, not the thread itself. You can stil place a socket on it, but if pressure is applied it will slip. The tool in particular i was looking for looked like an emergency lug nut remover.

Kinda like that. But i need a 14 or 17 (can't remember). I'm wondering where i can buy this? I tried local tool/auto stores, but they keep saying i have to tap the hole and maybe rethread it.

Thanks guys.

I've used the sears easy-outs and they work great. You can buy individual sizes or a kit. They look just like the one pictured above, only black.

in a super emergency use a big hammer to bang on a 12 point socket then use a impact to remove the nut bolt stud fastener etc. the picture posted above those things work great when they dont break. my impact used to split them in 2 or 3 pieces all the time

Could be the reason they broke all the time but my local tool place replaced them for no charge every time one broke
