Learn: how to?
Is there a place you can learn on how to weld? I learn how to MIG weld but only had about 45hrs worth and i was OK it wasnt the GREAT I learned it at school. I wanna learn how to TIG.
there are schools for it... personally... and this is just the way i always like to learn things... just do it... get some pointers from people who weld and just practice... iv always found that the best way to learn things... i just hate sitting someplace and having someone tell me how to do something
Local colleges/trade schools.
The only problem about teaching yourself is that it's hard to unlearn a bad habit. Better to be taught the right way the first time.
With practice comes experience, and it'd be better to have a head start by learning from the teacher's experiences of welding along with what you'd learn on your own in class. Plus with a class you have access to the best machines and plenty of materials so you don't have to waste your own money if you decide welding isn't for you.
