Default intake manifold

well i made (tried) to make my first intake manifold for a 3sgte
i made it out of 1 3/4" .120 wall electraweld tubing
the plenium is made of 1/8" flat stock
i did the welding with a lincoln water cooled tig/arch welder
then milled the flange and throttle spacer out of 1/2" flat stock

Dont laugh to hard!

A steel manifold? I guess it will handle abuse well enough.

No idea how it will perform, but the craftsmenship looks good Good job. Think the welds will be able to hold the weight and vibrations on the tube-flange?

looks like the runners on the one you made are shorter then stock and also bigger - i would expect more top end if my assumptions are right.

yeah i just powder coated it that was just the before pics
and yeah i think the welds will hold because when i milled the two flanges
it was in a vise type deal and i crank the hell out of it and it was tig welded so i know its stronger than mig
yeah sporkcrx thats what i went for because its for an all-trac celica or MR2 (3sgte)
ohh yeah and it gets rid of the dual runner like the b18c1 as of the pic of teh stock
Thsnk for the reply
