Default Which IC piping kit?

I am going to buy a cheap ebay IC piping kit to boost my DA but I don't know what bends I will need. Can anyone give me an estimate of the different pipes I will need. I don't want to order a kit that I can't use. Thanks

Look at racing-solutions website, they have a kit you can use. What parts you use is up to the fabricator aka YOU. I have a certain style for building IC pipes, as will the next shop, it's all about preference.

everyone talks **** on ebay...

and not to cheap out.... but thats cause they dont know why parts fail and they dont know where they can cheap out... so they just generalize it.

I got a intercooler and piping kit with couplers from ebay and it worked great.... it was a universal kit too but it had enough angles to complete the whole kit.

the intercooler will not flow as well as a namebrand or percision crafted ones but it will defitnatly get the job done.

I totally agree with this! But I don't have enough turbo experience to know what ebay parts to stay away from. Thanks guys

Get one from these guys Just Intercoolers

The guage of their pipes are pretty thick and the aluminum is a good quality. In addition the pipes are beaded on both ends.

Slightly OT: I picked up one of the piping kits off ebay and chopped it up for my Miata. Do I need to weld some beads on where the piping meets the coupler or am I good as is?

I'm running a hair under 10psi peak through non-beaded aluminum piping that I got on ebay. You should be fine with a nice tight t-bolt clamp.

I have also heard that spraying the ends of the pipe with hairspray where the coupler goes on helps keep the pipes together, but I haven't had any blow off yet so I haven't tried it.

i've been running a chop and fit kit on my dd at 11psi and it's doing fine. looking to get this kit. it replicated the spoolin kit and is offered for different chassis. less couplers to blow off and bead rolled ends. 130shipped. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...wItem

how close is the set up for a 92-95 civic compared to a DA? I know everything from the egs is basically compatible with the dcs. Wasnt sure if this kit would match up on the da.

Best of luck suckah

p.s. your da didnt beat an A4..
soo..
