How to rethread?
I bought a used Ignalls camber kit and part of the thread are worn down a bit.I dont know if this will jurt the adjustability of them or not.Is there a way to rehtread them or just and ol' machine shop job?
Thanks
Thanks
My bad external.
Its not all the threads just maybe 1/4 inch in the middle of the camber kit screw.
Also there missing the bolts for the end.Are they regular bolts you can buy at a hardware store?

You can re-die it using the same pitch but that just depends on how worn those areas are. I personally wouldnt use anything but a minimum of stainless or Grade 8 material (in reference to the bolts/nuts)
well you just need a DYE to rethread it. i would bet the Dye would be around 12mm and 1.50 thread pitch, could possiably be 1.25.
Tap and DYE kits are easily available at your local hardware store. you just need to take one of those upper control arms with you and syai needa DYE to rethread this. they should go over to the hardware section and find athe correct bolt that goes with it then pull the dye to rethread it.
repairing internal studs is where it gets tricky and time intensive.
