Default How to get this effect?

can aluminium be be brunt like titanium, to achive the rainbow effect ? like the picture.

stainless steel is best, mild steel will do it also.

yeah.a few years ago i had one of those XTEC rebuildable mufflers.it was too shiny and noticable,so i took it apart and used a torch to turn it a golden color.depending on how hot you get it,you can make it just about any color you want.

settling torch...any amount of heat you want, color changes with heat.

oxy-acetylene is to settling torch as GMAW is to mig welding...

or its oxy acetylene because acetylene is the type of gas used to weld, and cut with. oxygen is the accelerant for the acetylene.

i've never heard anyone call it settling before?
