Default HF Bender

hey guys, i just need a some small pipes bent for a light bar that i'm going to make for my yamaha rhino & i'm concidering buying the cheapo HF bender for some small tasks & little projects that i've got going on around the garage.

Just curious if anyone has used something like this & if it worked for them or not.

Those benders kink the tubing pretty badly

I've seen a video online, where if you pack the tubing with sand really tight, then you can use one of those benders and not have it kink too much.

I built my bender for $400.00 with die, and it's powered by the push of a button. It's worth it if you end up doing enough projects.

yea, i've got the link to the instructions that you used somewhere.

maybe i should go that route, i've got a drill press already that i can drill the holes with, i seem to rembmer you saying that was the most diffacult part or what not.
