Default Header question (Custom angle)

I have a company building me a custom header for my h2b setup. My question is that since the trans remains in the OEM location shouldn't the longblock also? So if I tell them to make me a H series header on a b series angle I should be ok shouldnt I? I dont really know how to measure that angle

Since our product line already consists of a H22 Prelude chassis header, it wasn't a big issue for us to make a H2B header by changing the pitch of the lower section by about 15 degrees. The picture below shows H22 Prelude header on the right and the H2B header on the left.</TD></TR></TABLE>

That should answer your question

The header should be built around an h22 engine, but the angle underneath should be built around the engine running those mounts. Pretty much if they just build it around the h22 block, you will be fine.

So the upper section remains the same but the lower is bent down at 15*. I guess I better call him and tell him

For an application like this, that would be the best. Anyone in Illinois have the setup we can make a custom header then jig them to match other h2b setups
