Default good epoxy

i need to attach my throttle bodies to the runners and i dont really want to use hose clamps cause they look like crap. and the rest of my itb setup is done really well, i thought about having the tb's welded to the runners but the heat would distort the shape and **** them up.. so i figured a good epoxy will work.. there is barely any weight on the tb at that point, just the weight of the tb itself and the stacks. so i just need something good to join them

DEVCON is great. FUSOR or any equivalent body panel adhesive will work as well. Check around at your local body shop supply store, they'll have one or more of them.

they should isolate the ITB's from too much vibration too. Any tome you can do that it's a good thing. I think that an epoxy would eventually crack too.

if you do decide to go with the clamps like posted above, let me know. I'm pretty buddy buddy with the local honda/suzuki/yamaha/kawasaki dealer.

Yep, usually OEM parts that Honda has designed and put some time into are good.

I can vouch for Fusor. Its used as "structural" adhesive for body panels.

Depending on the heat they see you might have a problem with the epoxy cracking due to the difference in CTE. JB Weld actually wouldn't be that bad of an idea since it is an epoxy with metal in it and it takes heat well. An adhesive you might try is Loctite Hysol 9430. It is used to bond composite bike frames to their metal lugs. You can get it at http://www.rshughes.com along with many other adhesives.

I used some 3M liquid epoxy my friend got from his welding school. He says the 3M reps came by, and said they tested it on a car and it lasted longer than some of the welds.

I wish I could find the name of it off hand, but its not listed on the 3M website.

I also fiberglassed the inside of the manifold portion, one to smooth out the inside of the runners and also I figure it will aid somewhat in strength.

So far so good, it seems to be pretty damn strong and heat hasn't effected it.

Not sure about heat distortion, but I would try this stuff before JB.
