WOW ive been wanting to get into welding for quite some time now
i would really like to b able to build my own stuff instead of paying someon as i love to do EVERYTHING myself and learn bout it in the process as much as possible.
does anybody know usually how long schooling is for welding or anyother info would be helpful

im currently in medical school and finishing up and gonna do 6 months of extern but once i start working and getting money i wanna do welding next while trying to get my AA from college

prob will b alot on my hands but ill see how it goes when i start working as it can b very demanding ultrasound/echocardioghrapher tech i feel like i know as much as a doctor!!!

anyone have any useful links on particular brands or models of machines that would work well for TIG or MIG? or possibly a walkthrough on how to buy machines + userfriendlyness. would be great for me since everyone claims to have the best machine

I want to try welding but i heard it dangerous to matters good you're. I hear lincoln welders good welding machine. Expensive but i would only get it if you doing alots of work..

Bringing this back from the dead, but for very good reason.

I stumbled upon this today and it really hit home. This article is applicable to anyone who welds, but especially new welders. Remember that the nearest cleaner isn't necessarily the best cleaner; this guy's lucky to be alive.

Take 5mins to read and share this with anyone who will benefit from it; it could save lives!
