Default Critique this Rollcage

First off let me preface this by saying that this is NOT my rollcage. I found it on a local forum and it just doesn't look right to me at all.

Yeah its rusty as hell. To me it looks less functional than something like an Autopower roll bar (aside from all the bars in the door), but I have no idea because I've never built a cage.

I used to have one of those, but mine came with swings and monkey bars

oh, wait... thats supposed to be a rollcage

Rich

EDIT:
I like the main diagonal cross brace on the main hoop. It doesnt secure the main bend by the drivers head. Those people definately dont buy into the triangle being the strongest structure...

Yeah, I figured it would never pass any sort of tech inspection. Thankfully the owner cut it up to use the material.

car must be an 80's domestic..can't tell from pic.. maybe a camaro...thats how the cages on 8.00-10.00 cars used to be down... the rusty hole on the main hoop are where the downtubes towards the rear were cut and it's not 2 piece merely hose clamps probably holding some wiring...old school.. haven't seen a cage like that in years... i used to hate getting in and out of them.. and no.. i didn't have that style cage.. but did build domestics for a living.. some guys liked these cages.. so we did themm..
