control arms

Default control arms

has anyone fabbed their own? upper or lower?

i see lots of aftermarket ones available in tubular designs etc...

has anyone made their own? and do you have pics?

not that i necissarly want to do it but the idea has been in the back of my mind

You had better be REALLY confident in your fabrication and welding abilities if you are going to build a serious load-bearing member in your car. If a manifold cracks it is one thing, but if your control arm breaks.....

thats what I was thinking, but under all ideal conditions, like having a professional weld it up for you, and having acess to all tools, what would be most peoples construction design of choice?

I rather pay the cheap prices for these arm then put out the time to make one. Just not worth it. Yet, who knows. Your life can possibly depend on it.

where certain things, money just has to buy, but everything else, theres the HTweld forum.
